To answer your question: Yeah! I know about the radio tower. Sarissa and Kol and I had visions about it when we ate the feast food.
What do you want to know?
no subject
I'm fine. Really. Thanks.

hence his next series of texts: ]
I do! I even sketched the scenery out after we all woke up.
Not perfect as a picture but I think it's a pretty good recreation of what Sarissa and Kol and I saw. Do you want me to send a picture of it to you?
It's, like, buried somewhere in my sketches somewhere in the room but I should be able to find it in five - seven minutes, tops?

[Good to know and Quentin files that under 'things to look in to before wandering in to the woods'.]
If you could, yeah. A sketch would be great. ANYTHING would be great. When you saw it, was it working?

thankfully- the wait might be worth it when he gets a reply from day. or, rather, a series of reply.
the first one is an attachment; the picture of the sketch he had made. it depicts beacon during the actual day, bright and full of light and life and, judging by the trees and the surrundings, the autumn time. from the way daylight has sketched his surroudings with surprisingly good accuracy, the radio tower's view shows it juts from the base of the southern mountains along the coast. the radio tower can see the lake, the bay, and the lighthouse. curiously enough, the lighthouse is not only still under construction but also be missing its signature beacon.
another one is a sketch of the map that can be found on the tablet. the main difference between the app's map and daylight's sketch is the fact he's drawn out path of some sort. entering the woods and leading towards a direction. the sketched out trail abruptly ends at a spot that's been circled in red, with the words 'careful!! g.e. spirits here' written over the circle.
finally- he gets an actual text: ] I was with Sarissa and Kol. You can talk to them if you want! They're really nice and they should have more information about things. Well context for some information and things.
And it was, yeah. It could send out messages and it had a computer that's password-protected. No electricity for the computer, though, and I had to generate arc energy to jumpstart it.

These are great, thank you. I don't know what an arc energy is, but I do know about jump-starting things. Thank you for this, I really appreciate it and the mark on the map? Soldat told me that you were attacked. Was that the place?
no subject
It seems that they can't say words themselves, from what Soldat and I experienced. I don't know how to describe it but they kept echoing my words back to me. They were quiet until I started speaking in their language.
[ and it was... pretty unnerving. ]
And I'm happy to help you out on this, Quentin. I hope someone finds the radio tower soon. There could be information in the computer that could help us out.
no subject
Or did you talk to the one trying to kill you?
I didn't think about that, and that's not really why I want to find it. But if I find it and there's anything on there, I'll send you a note. Unless I can upload what I find on this, and then I'll just send it.
no subject
And thanks for the promise of the update, buddy. I really appreciate it! Can I ask what your plans are with the radio tower then? If I can ask that.
no subject
I'll tell you, if it works.
no subject
And well- I'm not sure about them being able to write. I know they can read, at least? [ to explain that bit a little bit better, day goes on to describe how he had sent a letter to the spirits via the post office. he had informed the green-eyed spirits of his desires to get a better understanding of them and had told them of where he and his friend were going upon entering the woods.
since the spirits were around the area, daylight assumes they got the letter. he thinks, at the very least. ]
After that experience, I can confidently say this; If you're going to go and look for the Radio Tower, I definitely suggest bringing Soldat with you. If he's up for it. He'll have your back and I don't think I would have gotten out in one piece without him.

Your map really helped, though. Will help. It's going to help us not wander off course and end in the lake.
I hope.

Good luck when you go out there, Quentin. If you need a hand in anything else, you let me know! I'll do what I can to help you out if there's something I can do to give you and the others a boost.
