[To Takame's knowledge, it wasn't made in secret and thus there was little need to keep its existence hidden. He didn't know the man well either, only recognized his face and spoken with him once or twice if you count the stupid bat costume plus handwaves.

He understood Daylights intent to keep the information vague. Smart move, the walls had ears after all.]

Okuyasu's is the only name I recognize from it.

[ he sighs at the answer, the anticipation and hope he felt flagging down. so there goes his theory that people involved in the neighbourhood watch, getting kidnapped as retaliation for forming this group without permission or something. ]

So we don't have any clues for what's happening, huh? [ he rubs his forehead, trying to keep the headache he feels building up behind his eyes. ] We only have the names of who are missing, with the fact they're all like us: Stuck in this town against our will.

So it would seem. [He doesn't like it anymore than Daylight does. Having to wait and see until he's able to learn more, it was no better than what he was forced to wait for at home. Just waiting for the pattern, waiting for Elidibus to show his hand... and Takame was never the idea person.]

What do you propose we do?

but when he does, it quickly becomes clear why he was taking so long: ]

1) Begin to shore up items for the people who need them. We need to get supplies to tend to any injuries or wounds like bandages to painkillers to medical thread. We need to prepare IVs in case they’re dehydrated or starved. We’ve got to basically already prepare for their return, assuming the worst but hoping for the best.

I'm already buying medical supplies, blankets, and trying to get others to help with this.

2) We need a house converted to a post-mission care site when they come back. Where they can recuperate from wherever they are right now and we can share information. Preferably several houses so the heat isn’t on one group or pair and we can scatter if needed. If we can’t do that, then we need to, at the very most, keep the company to those who are missing and watch over them. So nothing happens to them again.

My and Agatha’s house is open to this. We got some bedrooms available for those who need to recuperate in safety.

3) Against all odds we need to somehow get a group meeting going. Preferably one that’s face-to-face and in private. We can’t trust the network system since we don’t know where it’s from and who else has access to this. We need to pool what we have now and figure out what we can do with it. Get theories, ideas, and so on out there. Build connections. Work with what we’ve got.

[Had his focus not been on the directions given, Takame would be impressed with Daylight's expertise here. But as it stood, he was copying everything needed down and committing it to his memory. He was no medic, he didn't have the talent to save lives. Only take them. But he could be a pack mule. And he could be an extra set of eyes.]

Those are definitely things we need. At this point, while everything is still in the dark and we're working with unknowns here, anything at all is better than nothing.

I’ll pay you back for the materials if I can. It might take a while but I will if you want me to. [ because this is a lot he’s asking from his friend, daylight knows, and he wants to do right by him.

I'm really glad you and Erwin and the others are safe. The fact a large group disappeared like this is driving me nuts. [ he isn't- he isn't surprised, at least in terms of police response. given how happy and clueless they were in december, their lack of response isn't a surprise but it's got him on edge all the same. ] If this can happen then all bets are off.
